The driver needs cooling as the engine does. Louvers in the roof help evacuate some air. The hose hanging next to the see is for cool air to the helmet.
That’s a badass looking helmet. The air hose hooks up on the top from the rear. The water hose connection is down low on the right side.
This little box controls the helmet cooling fan speed and the other switch controls the temperature.
Mounted behind the driver are the helmet air cooler system and drinking water bottle. The air cooler is a small solid state AC system.
A NACA duct grabs the air which is fed through the helmet air cooler before going to the driver.
