The front brakes use a WP Pro six-piston caliper with a WP Pro full floating scalloped 2-piece rotor. 245/40-17 Nexen NFera Sur4G tires on 17X8″ XXR 531 wheels are used on the front. Winmax drift spec brake pads are used for the front and rear.
In the rear, 4-piston WP Pro calipers are used for both the foot brake and the drift brake. Two-piece floating rotors are also used on the back. The rear tires are 275/40-18 Nexen NFera Sur4G’s which are mounted on 18×9.5 XXR 531 wheels. KMR/Mazdatrix braided steel brake lines help improve brake pedal feel.
For suspension, Kyle relies upon the tried and true Wisefab system. In the rear, the Wisefab kit lowers the car without sacrificing wheel travel or messing up the suspension geometry. The Wisefab suspension is actually the same as a SE3P RX-8! All of the arms and links are the same as the NC MX-5.
The Wisefab suspension allows a huge adjustment range for camber and toe. The system also allows adjustment of the roll center and toe and camber curves to a lesser degree.
A Speedway Engineering rear anti-sway bar is used. The bar can be adjusted via multiple holes in the arms and through using torsion tubes of different wall thicknesses. The bar is used to tune the balance of the car for each track and according to track conditions. It also allows the use of super soft rear springs which help forward grip under drift.
