A BMW steering rack is used. The rack has been relocated to clear the rotary engine and to get better Ackerman.
The engine driven power steering pump has been replaced with an electric over hydralic system. The black thing right over the steering rack is the electric power steering pump.
The car’s interior features an all-inclusive roll cage built with 1.50″ DOM tubing with a 0.095″ wall thickness. Everything is mig welded together. The seats are NRG Innovations FIA approved buckets with integrated head protection. NRG Innovations also supplied the 6-point harness.
The Steering wheel is an NGR Innovations, KMR branded part made to Kyles specifications. The dash display is a Racepack IQ3 Logger dash linked to the Haltech ECU via a CAN connection.
The fire system is a Safecraft AT with 10-pound capacity. It is charged with Novec 1230 fluid. This is a great extinguishing agent as it does not leave any corrosive residue at all and is non-ozone depleting.
