Turbocharging the Nissan MR20DD Engine, Part 5, Putting It All Together!

We retained the stock camshafts, just WPC treated the lobes for less friction.

Our block waiting for the new rods and pistons.  You can see how smooth our bore is and it’s mind-boggling to think that the OEM bore is way smoother than this!

With our long block assembled, it was time to work on our additional injectors and turbo system.

We bolted up our ZSM Customs modified stock exhaust manifold.

Next the Garrett G25-550 turbo was hung on its V-Band mount.
