Now the rod/piston assembly is totally ready for installation.
Now the remote reservoirs need to be assembled. First, the base shim that acts like a check valve is installed.
Then the valve body is installed with this special spanner. The holes in the valve body help control the total amount of compression force that can be generated.
The body is installed into the reservoir with this special spanner and the torque set.

What’s always interesting is seeing how different KW’s valve design philosophy is compared to the Bilstein/Ohlins/Penske/etc deflective disc pistons… but obviously it works, and works well. Cool that they’re doing rebuilds in-country too, thank you for sharing all of this.
