The Best of 2021, #2: Project 987.2 Cayman S, Aero Install With Verus Engineering

The bumper fascia was then removed and the canards installed with the provided hardware.  The reason why the holes were drilled on the car was so the soft plastic bumper would not distort without support making accurate hole location impossible even with the template.

The installed canards in place look pretty cool. These are high-quality dry carbon pieces.

Next, it was onto the rear wing installation.  First, the factory wing was locked in the up position and the upper shell removed.

Next, the wing supports were removed.

The OEM wing pillars remain, these will be used later to help support the Verus wing.

The rear deck drilling template is placed on the deck, like the bumper template is it self adhesive.

  1. I absolutely love this project. The shot of the undertray with the oil pan sitting perfectly flush is a testament to how well all these parts are engineered. I bet that thing is a riot on track.

  2. Been following this build from day 1, really impressed with the detail and how well through out the car is. I have the same car that I’m building out in a similar fashion and was wondering which roll bar you have in the car? Mine is white also, and I love the single bar through the rear window and the white powder coat.
