Howard loosens the front subframe bolts while supporting the subframe and transaxle with a tranny jack.

Next, Howard loosens the rear subframe bolt. Now the subframe can be carefully lowered.

The subframe can be lowered enough to remove the lower control arm bolt.

Here is the subframe fully lowered after popping off the ball joints with Howard removing the offending bolts.

The stock control arms are now removed.

Visually, the stock and T1 control arms are identical, and they are, except for the bushings.
