Project Porsche 987.2 Cayman S: Getting the Suspension Together! Part 1

The Tarett Engineering front bar is 26.8mm in diameter up from the stock 24mm diameter. Like the stock bar, it is also hollow for less weight.  The Tarett bar is about 60% stiffer than stock just from the change in diameter.

The Tarett bar is 5-way adjustable to where it can range from about 25% stiffer than stock to 120% stiffer.

We had to disassemble the KW Clubsports to change the springs and to install the HLS system.

The HLS hydraulic ram is used instead of a tender spring.

Like the rear suspension, the front suspension had to be disassembled on the bench so we could get a puller on the tight-fitting ball joint.  Look how massive the aluminum upright is. We will not be getting brake piston knockback here!

We assembled the Tarett Engineering links to the upright to get it ready to go back in the car.
