You can see the rear-mounted oil intake on the AMS pickup. Under hard driving the oil sloshed to the intake and no air can be sucked up! We really like this concept, it’s one of those things you wish you had thought of!
The AMS Alpha deep pan is now bolted in place.
The AMS pan comes with a new, longer oil-fil indicator tube. When the proper oil level is reached, the oil drips out of there.
We refilled the transmission with Motul Multi DCTF fluid. The Motul fluid is much cheaper than the Nissan stuff and has a great track record for working well.
Since the AMS pan is much deeper than the OEM part, the carbon fiber undertray has to have a reinforcing rib trimmed for clearance. We marked the area that was contacting the pan.

Is this article complete? I didn’t see any WPC treated parts. Ohh well carry on.
Lmao
Do you like your pan?
Wouldn’t you still want baffles to help keep the oil by the pickup when you’re braking and downshifting? I don’t see the benefit of removing them are aside from a negligible increase in oil capacity.
