PRI 2016 Street Outlaws Edition: Part 2 – The Turbo Cars!

,

The new Murder Nova is said to be a lot safer and lighter than the original Murder Nova, thanks to the use of lots of carbon fiber. The chassis is referred to a 25.2 and was built by Don Dial Race Cars, while the carbon fiber body parts came from VFN and Tim McAmis Performance Parts.

The engine is a Proline Racing 482-cubic inch small block Chevy, and is tuned by Big Chief Justin Shearer (owner of the Crow Mod) using a FuelTech FT600 engine management system. The turbo piping work was performed by Stainless Works and Race Parts Solutions. The multi-thousand horsepower goes through a Rossler TH400 tranny with ProTorque converter and Reid SFI case that sits in a Boninfante bellhousing.

The turbos are Precision 88mm with black compressor wheels and covers (how very “Murder Nova” of Mr. Ellington).
