Project MKIV Supra: Part 16 – New Body Parts and Going in for Paint!

,

In case you haven't seen the Ford F-150 Roush edition, the exterior is enhanced with Roush's own bumper cover, fender flares, 20-in wheels, Micky Thompson rubber, and graphics.

It's also got a 5.0-liter Coyote supercharged V8 rated at 600BHP, although on this dyno it saw a stock 439 HP to the rear wheels.

Here's a dyno of the final MKC tune. Now THAT is a truck I'd like to drive!

When I returned to MKC a few days later, I was like a kid in a candy store. It was like a meet and greet of America's 6.0-plus liter engines. Nothing to see here- just a 900 WHP Vette, a 730 WHP Dodge Hellcat and a 475 BHP Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.

Oh boy, let's check out this Corvette. First, I'm just going to look at it for a while. It is a thing of beauty. I noticed Corvette still uses a 1-in taller wheel for the rear versus the front. I have been contemplating moving to a 19-in wheel for the rear of the Supra (and keeping the 18-in fronts) to gain better traction through the low-profile tires with what would end up being taller gearing and a longer front-to-rear contact patch.
