PRI 2015: Part 1

,

Today, these would be fine to use again because Jiffy-Tite has created quick-release fittings that fit no larger than your basic AN fitting.

Here’s the difference between an original Jiffy-Tite fitting, like I used to use, compared to the ones released now. Now there’s no draw back in using Jiffy-Tite quick disconnect fittings, unless you simply don’t like the color.

I saw this FAST intake manifold for the LS engine last year and was impressed with how it allowed you to tune your power curve by having removable runners, where you can swap longer ones for more torque or shorter ones for more top end power (reportedly up to 35hp!).

Everyone knows that when high horsepower is necessary for a project, then Brian Crower can get it done. Here is a set of the firm's rods for the Honda B-Series, rated to withstand over 700hp.

Speaking of Crower products, their multi-disc clutch packages are among the sweetest I've ever seen. It's not just all of the billet parts but check out the high quality, high-tensile stud kit used!

Make sure to check out Part 2 of our six-part PRI coverage. We're not even close to being done. With gobs more turbos, suspensions systems, brakes, electronics and other gadgets, we're bringing practically the entire show to your computer, phone or tablet!
