After all the races and seals are removed, the housing gets a bath.
A water-based solvent is used to clean out the housing.
Dang…the clean differential case is like new again!

So now our diff is disassembled, cleaned and ready to be put back together. Stay tuned, in our next segment, we will show you how to set up and tune a limited slip diff for drift use, even if it is a 1.5 way.  We will also show how to set up a ring and pinion, setting the pinion depth and backlash.
