We got a long afternoon ahead of us! We decided to lay everything out and get ready for the rebuild.

One of the easiest ways to remove the OEM rubber bushings was with the air hammer.
Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the new solid Z1 Motorsports differential bushing to the OEM rubber bushing. Looks like the rubber one went to hell and back!
The benefit of running a solid bushing is by removing all the slop of a rubber bushing. You can see how the rubber bushing on the right has cutouts that allow a great deal of flex.
