Tragically Awesome – TMB Fabrication’s #Winning Time Attack EG Civic
Shock adjuster and shock tower from front with REBOUND written in sharpie
Fortune Auto Pro 2-way dampers are used on the Civic to keep it planted. And, just in case you forgot which adjustment was which, Thruxton left detailed notes written in Sharpie directly on the chassis.
Custom fabricated strut tower brace with more handwritten notes about hard/soft direction
TMB custom fabricated a solid strut tower brace to help tie the front end together. It also features more handwritten instructions about which direction makes the rebound adjustment harder or softer to prevent anyone from turning the knobs in the wrong direction.
Fortune Auto remote resevoir mounted on frame in front of front wheel
Compression is adjusted on the Fortune Auto’s Pro dampers’ remote reservoirs. TMB neatly tucks the front reservoirs on the outside of the frame. You can also just make out the fabricated front chassis brace that ties the two frame rails together behind the bumper.
Here’s a shot of the front chassis brace during fabrication. As you can see, it was also used to mount the intercooler.
Front axle going into hub/knuckle
It’s hard to make out, but TMB Fabrication put a lot of work into the front end.

Trucker reinforced the OEM front knuckles and then fabricated his own fully adjustable spherical bearing-jointed control arms. He fabricated Delrin bushings where sphericals didn’t replace OE units, and then attached an OEM Acura Integra front swaybar to the mix. 20kg/mm springs are used up front.

Custom rear swaybar assembly viewed through rear diffuser
A more significant amount of work went into the rear suspension layout.
