PRI 2015: Part 3

,

Very few people can pass the AutoMeter booth and not notice it. If you like gauges, expect to go blind in this booth. They've got it all.

One of the cooler products AutoMeter recently released is its DashControl, which uses the vehicle’s factory displays to provide extra information without any modification. All you do is plug it into the OBD2 port as you see there on the lower left.

With the DashDisplay, this Corvette's dash, for instance, is now displaying other things like intake air temp and ignition timing on the bottom as well. Genius!

Take a look at AutoMeter’s new AirDrive system, which features WiFi plug and play gauges that can be controlled by its AirDrive smartphone app. The screen we’re looking at here is to change the color of the far upper-right gauge in the picture. As you can see, they've selected one of the lighter colors here.

The ARP booth had a few nifty engines lying around. Check out this Roush Yates Ford Ecoboost 3.5L V6. The twin turbo setup features a 10.0:1 compression ratio.
