PRI 2015: Part 3

,

Here’s another one of AiM’s steering wheels for road racing. Check out the different displays. On one hand, you can show see how you’re doing with your lap times…

…or you can display different vital information on the engine and car itself. The buttons can also be customized to control different parts of the dash, whether it's to toggle through different menus, figure out peak values, radio control, or maybe even to prank call Mike Kojima!

This is WPC’s booth, which is showing off its metal surface treatment for engine internals. Mike Kojima swears by this stuff, and WPC loves Mike Kojima.
This was probably one of the sweetest looking rides there, and I’m not even that much of a muscle car guy (but when I am, oh man can a Camaro Z28 or SS look good!). It was on display in the SCE Gaskets booth.

I can’t tell all that is inside this engine, and I couldn't find a whole lot of information about it, but we can all agree that it's pretty big. And, if you look closely, you might notice a couple of wastegates because this sucker's twin-turbocharged as well. In fact, it’s run a 6.58 quarter mile at 223 MPH! No way–this car is too pretty to be able to do that.
